This trek takes you to Makalu Base Camp (5250 m), now designated as Makalu Barun National Park and Conservation Area. Mt. Makalu (8463 m) is the fifth highest peak in the world. The Makalu Base camp trek is a true adventure with scenery so beautiful that it will never tire you. The trek starts with a flight to Tumlingtar and heads up the Aurn River valley to Sedua and Num, then crossing Shipton La Pass (4210 m) into the upper Barun river valley for a close look at Makalu and Chamlang Himal. This trek visits one of the most remote and unfrequented areas of Nepal. The Barun valley is a part of a huge international protected area under the agreement between the governments of Nepal and China, which comprises of 2330 sq. km of National Park and 830 sq. km of conservation area in Nepal alone.

Day 01 :- Fly from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar and trek to Khandbari and overnight in camp (L+D).

Day 02 :- Trek from Khandbari to Fururu and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D).

Day 03 :- Trek from Fururu to Num and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D).

Day 04 :- Trek from Num to Sinduwa and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D).

Day 05 :- Trek from Sinduwa to Tashigaon and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D).

Day 06 :- Trek from Tashigaon to Kauma and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D).

Day 07 :- Trek from Kauma to Mumbuk and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D).

Day 08 :- Trek from Mumbuk to Neh Kharka and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D).

Day 09 :- Trek from Neh Kharka to Serson and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D).

Day 10 :- Trek from Serson to Makalu Base Camp and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D)

Day 11 :- Rest day in Makalu B.C. Explore the Base Camp areas and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D).

Day 12 :- Trekking from Base Camp to Neh Kharka and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D).

Day 13 :- Trek from Neh Kharka to Mum buk and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D).

Day 14 :- Trek from Mumbuk to Kauma and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D).

Day 15 :- Trek from Kauma to Tashigaon and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D).

Day 16 :- Trek from Tashigaon to Balung and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D).

Day 17 :- Trek from Balung to Phukuwa and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D).

Day 18 :- Trek from Phukuwa to Bumling and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D).

Day 19 :- Trek from Bumling to Tunlingtar and overnight in camp (B/F+L+D).

Day 20 :- Fly from Tumlingtar to Biratnagar and afternoon to Kathmandu (B/F+L+).
