This is one of the oldest trekking rough for Everest Trekking and also a alternative route to taking flight to Lukla, own who have time and like to experience the total life stay of the Solu Khumu and sherpa people culture. Jiri can be reached by drive about 6/7 hours from Kathmandu. To trek from Jiri gives you good preparation for the Everest base camp trek. It is never flat as it crosses the grain of the land for the first five days. Lamjura La pass 3530m is the highest access of this trek just before Lukla, which bestows magnificent display of pink and iliac rhododendron in spring. The trek passes through Solukhumbu (before Lukla) that are relatively undeveloped compared with the northern part of the region. This facilitates trekkers to experience many traditional aspects of the culture of the local people.

Day 02 :- Jiri to Shivalaya (1767m)

Day 03 :- Shivalaya to Bhandar (2194m)

Day 04 :- Bhandar to Sete (2573m)

Day 05 :- Sete to Junbensi (2675m)

Day 06 :- Junbensi to Taksindo (2971m)

Day 07 :- Taksindo to Khari khola (2050m)

Day 08 :- Khari Khola to Surke (2339m)

Day 09 :- Surke to Phakding (2640m)

Day 10 :- Phakding to Namche bazaar (3446m)
